Medical Officers Basic Course Passing Out Parade – February 2025

118 officers, including 22 women, complete Medical Officers Basic Course at AMC Centre, Lucknow.

A grand ceremonial parade was held at the Armed Forces Medical Corps (AMC) Centre & College, Lucknow, marking the successful completion of the Medical Officers Basic Course (MOBC) Serial No. 250. One hundred eighteen officers, including 22 lady officers, participated in the event, signifying their official induction into the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).

Parade Reviewed by Lt Gen Shivinder Singh, AVSM

Lt Gen Shivinder Singh, AVSM, Commandant of AMC Centre & College, reviewed the parade. He praised the young officers for their dedication and encouraged them to uphold the highest professional standards while serving the nation with humility, empathy, and compassion.

Outstanding Achievements Recognized

Captain Yogesh Gangwar, RMO of the 15 Garhwal Rifles, was honoured as the Best all-around officer for his outstanding performance during the course.

This passing out parade marks a significant milestone in AFMS’ mission to train and equip medical professionals who will provide critical healthcare support to the armed forces, ensuring medical readiness and excellence in service to the nation.
