📰 Indian Defence News: Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor Reviews Operations at Air Force Station Bhuj, Highlights Cybersecurity Priorities

Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Air Command (SWAC), visited Air Force Station Bhuj to review ongoing activities and assess operational preparedness. The visit focused strongly on strengthening cybersecurity, infrastructure development, and the readiness of personnel to counter emerging security challenges.

During the inspection, Air Marshal Kapoor interacted with officers and airmen, reiterating the need for discipline, vigilance, and adoption of modern technologies to enhance the station’s strategic role in the region. He emphasised that cybersecurity is no longer an auxiliary concern, but a critical pillar of national defence, especially with the rapid rise of digital threats targeting military systems.

In his address to the personnel, Air Marshal Kapoor stressed that safeguarding digital networks is essential to protecting the Indian Air Force’s operational capabilities.
