SWC CBRN School Conducts Advanced Training to Counter International Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Threats

Advanced CBRN Training at SWC: Enhancing Indian Army's Preparedness Against Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Threats.

A CBRRN School, under the South Western Command, has thus prepared an exclusive training schedule to equip the Indian Army with better resilience to threats from CBRN. The Sarvada Agrani Brigade conducted this training to fine-tune the techniques needed to meet the challenges of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards in the future.

During the session, personnel are trained with advanced capabilities to handle nearly all kinds of situations involving CBRN, emphasizing rapid response, containment, and mitigation. Theoretical classes and practical exercises were included in the sessions, wherein realistic simulations would have been conducted on how to effectively handle situations that were dangerous.

This effort is part of the broader approach by the Indian Army to ensure that its forces are ready for response at any moment in the eventuality of CBRN emergencies that could pose a threat to national security or public safety. Besides, by being extensively involved in these kinds of special drills, the Army has been able to maintain a high level of preparedness and operational readiness while tackling CBRN incidents.

Training at the SWC CBRN School indeed constitutes a proactive approach toward comprehension of modern CBRN threats, which today are highly relevant in the contemporary global security environment. It further strengthens the resolve of the Indian Army for the defence of the country against all emerging threats by equipping its personnel with the right toolsets and knowledge.
