Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, recently visited the Hisar Military Station. He witnessed the tactical training being conducted by the Division and reviewed the state-of-the-art Counter-Drone node. Lt Gen Singh got an opportunity to see the advanced training and drills being pursued aimed at countering the increasing drone threat, a domain of great emphasis in view of the changing character of war. He commended the proactive steps taken by the formation in enhancing its response capabilities through focused training.
The Army Commander also praised the Hisar Military Station for adequately committing to environmental sustainability apart from tactical readiness. He went on citing various green initiatives and waste recycling on the premises aligned with the national Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan or the Clean India Mission. These are indicative of the effort by the station to enforce eco-friendly lifestyle elements in daily life.
Lt Gen Singh also commended the sterling dedication, professionalism, and unflinching commitment of all personnel at the station. This visit underlined the need for the continuation of training, requirement of adaptation to new threats along with environmental responsibility within military operations. This effort is surely going to be further encouraged as it was endorsed by the Army Commander to meet high standards in operational readiness and environmental stewardship by the troops at Hisar Military Station.
