Eastern Naval Command’s Paramedical Team Wins at 5th Indian Naval Paramedical Skill Competition 2024

This achievement not only celebrates the individuals and the team but also showcases the readiness of naval medical personnel to effectively manage emergencies, enhancing the operational capability of the Indian Navy.

A highly professional and committed approach by the paramedical team of the Eastern Naval Command, led by Captain Arsha P of INHS Kalyani, won the first prize at the 5th Indian Naval Paramedical Skill Competition 2024 held at the Indian Naval Station Asvini in Mumbai. The competition showed the exceptional proficiency among naval paramedical personnel in rendering medical and surgical emergencies.

Chief guest Air Marshal MS Sridhar, DCIDS (Med), who attended the award ceremony, highlighted the event as even more important for the spirit of excellence and commitment amongst the paramedical staff of the Indian Navy. The winning team was congratulated on its sterling expertise and work ethics in keeping with the high standards of the Navy’s medical personnel.

This annual competition provides a highly valuable platform for naval paramedical teams to show their mettle and enhance their abilities with respect to real-life medical emergencies through rigorous scenarios presented.
