An IAF C-17 Globemaster aircraft flew from Hindan late at night on a high-priority medical mission. It carried a team of medical specialists from the R&R Military Hospital to conduct a coordinated effort to make a Green Air Corridor available for transporting live organs from Pune to Delhi, thus facilitating an operation to save a life.

The swiftness with which the IAF coordinated the movement and managed the deployment of the C-17 ensured that the organs reached their destination in time to be used for the transplant process.
